Tonka Bean Essential Oil
Tonka bean is fairly new on the essential oil market, though it has been in use in South America for a long time as an extract made by soaking the beans in rum. Traditional herbal uses of Tonka Bean include treating earaches, coughs, lung congestion, asthma, and for treating cuts, bruises, rheumatism, and even snake bites. Tonka Bean is a natural aphrodisiac. The aroma of tonka bean is very sweet, rich, sensual and vanillaesque with caramel notes.
